This Refund Policy governs all payments made to The Upgrade Society Enterprises LLC in connection with The Upgrade Society membership programme. By placing a deposit or making any payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy in full. This policy forms part of the Terms of Service at /terms and should be read in conjunction with them.
Your money is fully refundable at any point before we launch, provided you have not accessed any member content. Email us and it is processed within 5 business days. No questions asked.
Once you have accessed the platform, Playbook, concierge services, deal drops, or any member-only content — in whole or in part — all payments are permanently non-refundable under all circumstances. This includes voluntary cancellation, dissatisfaction, change of personal circumstances, and termination for any reason including misconduct. There are no exceptions.
"Launch" means the date on which confirmed members receive access credentials to The Upgrade Society platform, Playbook, and concierge services, enabling access to member-only content for the first time.
The confirmed launch date is June 1st, 2026.
Members will be notified by email at the address provided at application no less than 14 days prior to the confirmed launch date. If the launch date changes, all depositors and full-payment members will be notified by email and this page will be updated accordingly. The Upgrade Society is not liable for missed notifications resulting from a member's failure to monitor their registered email address.
All deposits ($499) and full payments ($4,501 or $5,000 total) are fully refundable if all of the following conditions are met:

If the confirmed launch date is delayed beyond September 1st, 2026, a full refund of all amounts paid is available to any depositor or full-payment member on written request to [email protected], regardless of whether the standard pre-launch refund window would otherwise have closed.
This backstop is unconditional for pre-access members. It applies to all deposit and full-payment holders who have not yet been granted or accessed any member content. There is no deadline on a backstop claim once the launch delay condition is triggered. Members who have already accessed content prior to a launch delay are not entitled to a refund under this backstop or under any other provision.
Once platform access, Playbook access, and concierge services have been delivered on the confirmed launch date, membership is active and all payments are permanently non-refundable. This applies without exception to:
No partial refund — for any unused portion of the membership year or any unused service — is available under any circumstances once access has been granted.
Membership terminated by The Upgrade Society under the conduct provisions of the Terms of Service — for any reason, including but not limited to content sharing, credential sharing, harassment, fraud, chargeback abuse, illegal use, or commercial exploitation — does not entitle the terminated member to any refund of any amount paid, partial or full. Termination is immediate and permanent. The no-refund position is absolute and applies regardless of how recently access was granted or how much of the membership period remains.
We ask that all payment concerns be directed to [email protected] before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with a card issuer or payment processor. We honour all legitimate pre-launch refund requests promptly.
Any chargeback filed after access has been granted — for any reason — will be treated as a bad-faith dispute and disputed in full. The Upgrade Society will submit comprehensive evidence to the relevant payment processor, including: proof of these Terms being agreed to at the point of payment, confirmation of access delivery, communication records, and the binding no-refund policy. We reserve the right to pursue recovery of all chargeback fees, processor penalties, lost revenue, legal costs, and associated damages through all available legal remedies. Filing a chargeback after access has been granted may also constitute grounds for termination under the Terms of Service.
